Training

The ADSM training materials were designed as an introduction to animal disease spread simulation concepts and to assist new users navigate through ADSM. ADSM application usage to simulate an animal disease outbreak is relatively straightforward. Developing adequate parameters to represent your request question, then evaluating the model output to determine an answer to your research question can be much more complex. Just reviewing parameters can help emergency responders consider issues in an animal disease outbreak. The ADSM Sample Scenario in the training materials is designed to assist users to visualize parameter inputs and interpret example results. The Sample Scenario is not intended to represent an actual disease or specific disease outbreak.
